I live in Chennai, India...got my KRONOS 61 no.000507 yesterday and found that the Touchview display did not respond at any spot. I also found that none of the knobs and sliders worked...and even the vector joystick failed to respond!!! I contacted the dealer immediately. He found from the distributor that the same problem had been reported by another customer. The dealer has confirmed that he will replace the keyboard...but i have to wait for 2 more weeks to get it replaced!!!!!!
This is an extreme disappointment after waiting for more than 5 months to purchase it ...
But i must mention that i was able to check out some presets and found that they sounded awesome!! anyway...i wasn't able to tweak the sounds with the malfunctioning control surface ...am I the first one who has experienced such a major problem??? should i wait for it or cancel my order and look for alternatives??? _________________ Prashanth. |

You ask if others have the problem while you say yourself the problem has been reported by another customer, so the answer is yes.
However, sorry that it doesn't work after waiting so long. But anybody is waiting, people here are still waiting for a delivery that is reasonably unknown when it will arrive. _________________

Its quite difficult to believe the distributors here!! They could have sent me the same Kronos in which the problem was previously reported by another customer...sounds crazy but it happens in India!
hmm...i dint expect to get the Kronos so soon either...but the wait was quite long after its announcement! _________________ Prashanth. |

I can imagine that 5 months of waiting is long; especially if you are looking forward to it (who doesn't?).

I had the same problem with my Kronos 73. I'm waiting and probably will be for another month. I pre-ordered in early January.
I hope yours comes soon!
