Catalyst Volume 1 has now been released, for the Korg Kronos!

The first volume in our Catalyst Series, this collection will catalyze your creativity with a burst of inspirational
jaw-dropping grooves, backing tracks and song-construction templates - all with a massive dose of KARMA
algorithmic goodness. More info, including the combi list and the extensive User's Guide:

Catalyst Volume 1 Page

Click here for Video and Audio Demos

Programmed by Eric J. Sawyer and KARMA Developer Stephen Kay, with each combi going through a rigorous
testing and quality control program, this fully KARMA-fied set of 32 combis represents hundreds of hours of
work and has now been ported to the Korg Kronos (after being previously released in versions for the OASYS,
M3 and M50). All of the combis have 8 fully-voiced scenes with different variations in each scene, and extensive
real-time control available from all of the Kronos controllers.

There are 3 demos available at the link above (one audio demo from the OASYS version, which sounds 100%
identical in the new Kronos version, and two video demos done with the M3 version demonstrating the
extensive real-time control - all of which is similarly available on the Kronos version.)

I may be able to get some more demos of the Kronos version up in the coming weeks. In the meantime,
Catalyst Volume 1 can be ordered from the Karma-Lab Store for $32 - that's $1 per combi - where else can
you get two or three full days worth of work on each one from expert KARMA Programmers for a dollar? Smile

indeed..

one would have thought this would have been a priority..

after all, if you cannot find creativity and inspiration in the stock Kronos i severely doubt any number of expansion packs will save you...

Guys, I have Catalyst for the M3 and its fantastic. If you have not heard it or played it....jump on it now! The programming and dynamic midi control is outstanding, and goes way beyond the typical Kronos KARMA programming. LOTS of hard man hours went into programming these patches....and it shows.

Do not miss out!

Thanks for your comments, Ron. I really appreciate that. Indeed, it is a ton of work that Stephen and I put into each combi, including the extensive user guide.

For KRONOS users who have never experienced Karma-Lab combis, hang on to your shorts!

This is one excellent package!

Extremely well priced at only $1 per combi,

Not to disparage anyone, The usefullness factor is about the same as the Factory sets, that is, 32 great, inspiring combi's without the hundreds of useless combi's that came with the instrument. There is no filler here.

And the associated documentation is not only great in the application of these combi's, I've learned more on how to approach creating my own Karma inspired combi's than ever before.

Only question is why I did not buy this for the M3?

A few of these packages and you won't even want the JP80, keep up the worth wild work.

Thanks Stephen, it's lots of fun. Laughing

I have the M3 version and can attest that these combis are excellent.

As I kept my M3 I will continue to use those.

Kronos owners would enjoy these.

I may just get the set anyway.

Are you going to redo the Reincarnation set also for the Kronos?
