Just regarding new o/s. It will probably be something minor to fix some bugs that people have pointed out. I think the main thing they are releasing in a few days are the new sounds.
I think they will release something big at NAMM, software wise. Otherwise what else will they have to show at NAMM? They've given us thier latest keyboard so what else will there be to show at NAMM? I think they will want it to be the centre of attention again by delivering a big o/s update...and if they deliver an EXi, a new instrument, then there will be big hype about this, because all the media will claim Korg have raised the ante and done it again,...Ten Synth Engines...etc, anyway just my thought on it

Don't count on too many things is my prediction. I think the Korg Kronos is still the flagship and maybe some sounds are announced but can't imagine a new EXi ... otherwise the competition will have a hell of a task to get something new too.
[fun mode] Well maybe the TRI1 EXi will be announced: Triangle Synth Engine. With the following parameters: Width, Height, Thickness, Stick Length, Stick Thickness, and of course a full screen of Triangle Material Composition parameters.
Tip: mix with overdrive
[fun mode off] _________________
