Hey there,

So this is my first work on Kronos and I hope It'll work fine.

The Kantele is a traditional instrument from Finland, it may look like a horizontal harp but has a very distinctive sound which I really fell in love with, as well as the country it comes from.
Perhaps it'll please robbinhood for its Ensiferum's covers Smile

The original samples come from the Ajatar Sampling website (many thanks to them): http://www.ajatarsampling.com/

I picked the "room mic" version which sounds more distant.

The original Kontakt samples are available for free and are not protected so I guess I did nothin illegal.
Some notes are missing in the first and last octaves, I might fix it in another version.

Hi Neko, not trying to be an a$$ i just wanna clarify something so new people
and beginers dont get confused as it actually happens in most cases.
You did NOT Sample, what you did is you Converted the Samples and then
Edited them. Sampling is a completely different thing:
Having the actual Instrument then recording the Notes then Editing.
Its a nice instrument.

You're right, and I edited my post as I don't want to be credited for a work that is not mine.

So as BasariStudios said, I converted the original Kontakt samples to make them compatible with Kronos.

[Edit]: Besides, I forgot to assign the multisamples to the program. When on the program page go to OSC / Pitch page and assign the MS accordingly.

Also, do you mind if i put this up on my website? I will of course credit you for making the PCG and mapping the samples, which does deserve plenty of credit btw.

You can put it on your website but Ajatar Sampling deserves much more credit than I do.

For the RAM thing, I upgraded my K to 4Go so I can load it without unloading anything else.

I made a short video here (at the bottom) http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=63198&start=165

It's not that risky but if you don't feel it, don't do it.
