Some sounds don't work in a Combi

Post by Animal »

Hello!

I was trying to change the sound on the first track in the Combi A085 "- Groovy Jam -". For some reason, some of the sounds just don't work and I can't find the reason. For example all of the GM sounds don't work and some others, for example, in this video you can see that some guitars work and some don't:

The sounds themselves work fine in Prog mode and even on the other tracks in other Combies.

Maybe there's a setting or a nuance that I missed or don't know yet. Could you, please, help me locate it?

Thank you!

Some of the timbres on Combi A085 "- Groovy Jam -" only sound when the arpeggiator is turned on. It's not uncomon that some of the timbres do not sound at all - they are just there as added by the original sound designer but are intentionally turned off.

From your video, those combis from the first page of the B bank do not correspond to the factory preload. They appear to have been rearranged/customized. Perhaps some are intended to trigger the notes of an external instrument which is why the internal Triton sounds are not sounding?

Every combi and program from the factory preload should make some kind of sound when you press the keys.
