Don't have kronos nor mpd26 so can't walk you throught but you can take a look at page 33 in the Parameter guide which should explain how to do this.
Just assign a notes above/below the keyboard itself on the pads to not trigger sounds and then just map those specific notes to the pads on the mpd26. When pressing the pads on the mpd26 those single notes (if assigned properly) will trigger the kronos pads. You can aswell do this with CC messages aswell instead of single notes. _________________ - Download & share Korg keyboard patches for free.

1. hook midi cable from pad device (output) to Kronos (input)
2. Program pad device to send 8 different note numbers, Program Kronos to match, you'll have to set the midi channels on each to match also.
This is all I did, I suggest using the last (highest) midi notes on the devices as this will allow you to play the keyboard without interfering with the pads.
I have the korg padKontrol, it works great, 8 pads to play Karma, and 8 pads to play drums, the XY ribbon control works too! _________________ Kronos-6, Krome, M3, Radias, KingKorg, microKorg, KP-2, KP-3, KO-1, KO-1 PRO, Karma, microX, monotron, monotribe, PadCONTROL, Wavedrum Mini, Volca Keys, Beats, Bass, Sample, monotron Duo & Delay, microArranger, M1, Wavestation, Volca Sample, Keys, Beats & Bass, MS-20

Thank you, Can you tell me how to the program screen for that on the kronos?
The one I found must be wrong , it only allows the chord pads on the kronos to go up down the 88 key range, this isnt good since those notes would play along with the chords.
Thanks |
