With a lot of samples in your arsenal, would it be feasable to simply plug in a USB SSD? I'm thinking something like the OCZ Enyo, (whatever size you want) which should suffice for all except the most lunatic of sample collectors. Is the Kronos USB 3.0?

A connection through USB won't be able to take advantage of the SSD speed. The only advantage there, then is that you can drop the portable drive and not worry as much about breaking it. |

That's why I asked if it was USB 3.0, which is fast. Would 2.0 be quick enough to run smaller sample sets off? |
