I was fooling around with the Pianos today and with headphones, here is the piano I like the best.

German D Dark 3. Most of the other pianos sound like they have too much attack - as if I am pounding when I am not. In addition by adjusting the velocity bias you can make this piano brighter. I like it because there's a sense of depth on this one.

Note that this is with the 61 note keyboard.

Everyone post your favorite settings for piano!

I have 2 that I will be using for my live setup.

1) KRONOS German Grand - I will be using this for any solo piano stuff. I did some minor tweaks to take a bit of the attack away, but I like how full this one sounds without being too bass/mid heavy.

2) Japanese Rock Piano - Tweaked this a bit again to add a touch more low and mid range in, but I like this one more for full-band stuff I think (haven't played out yet with the Kronos). I need the higher end and more attack to cut through my 7-piece band.
