|

Just an FYI
The official travel/carrying cases released by KORG for the KRONOS are being recalled due to manufacturing defects. So if you bought one check with your dealer on terms for replacement. The official communication I received does not detail the defects and I can't see anything obvious on mine. _________________ KORG KRONOS 61 |

Thanks for the update about the Korg cases. Really need a case, and having a hard time getting a good solid opinion about which is a great 61key case. Most opinions seem to differ which means that they are all probably a bit crappy unless you buy a 50lb flight case. Kinda leaning toward the Gator at the moment ( Gator GKPE-61-TSA ). |

I'm very happy with my Gator. It's light, the Kronos fits well, and beats the hell out of the ROTO cases. _________________ Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha). |

I think that the "official" cases mentioned by Flood are typically only on sale in Japan.

Anyone find a good fitting (very durable) case for the 73 key? I travel with it, so need it to be able to withstand some stuff on top of it, hot weather, etc... |

Ah, not much help for the US side of things, but I'll do some google'ing and hopefully find a place.
Thanks for the insight. |

what's the difference between a recall and just sending yours in if it's having keybed issues? A substantial portion of the user community is having little to no problems. _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: DSI Prophet 12 ::: DSI OB-6 ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Alesis Andromeda ::: Moog Sub37 ::: Sequential Prophet 600 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: GSI Burn :::

In the UK I'd recommend Castle Cases - have used them for my Hammond, Triton, Nord, custom pedal board and soon the K73. _________________ Kronos 73 (with max RAM and second SSD) (Triton EX88 departed this mortal coil)

Do people have experience with Thomann cases?
They make their own brand but there's not much info to be found.
I ordered a guitar case (for someone else) also from Thomann brand and that one is quite good. _________________
