|
|
I just purchased Genome Midi sequencer
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/genome-midi-sequencer/id450475494
...and would love to use it to control external gear and apps which support network midi. It would be great to sync up the IMS-20 with other gear, so please add core midi network support to your IOS apps such as the IMS-20 and Electribe R.
Thanks, from an eternal Korg fanboy |

Have you even tried to use this? I have RTPMidi running on my PC and use it to route midi from my Axiom 61 keyboard to my iPad 2 running iMS-20 perfectly. I get 4 ms reported latency from RTPMidi. Controls work fine also.
I am playing away with no midi cables required at all. |

I was able to get near 0 latency by hosting the wireless network directly from my Mac Pro. The Mac is on the floor and the iPad 2 on the desk 3 feet away. Doesn't get simpler.
I have an iPod Touch 4th gen and just got an iPhone 4. I have got to try getting all of them going on wireless MIDI at the same time when I get a day off work. It could be a chorus or chaos. |
