Is this little piano the German Grand or Japanese Grand? Remember, this is just a test.

Did you use the Mac to sequence everything together? Like the drum fills. Sound really natural. Nice Job.

Well at least I heard none of the factory patches. It sounds neither like a typical German grand nor like a typical Japanese grand. The mix is nice and the piano cuts through well, even where the mix is thick.

Is Tsunami right, or close?
PM me if you want to keep the tension.

I'm very interested to hear what patches you used all in all.
And ready to laugh or to be laughed at. Laughing

Sorry, didn't mean to mislead anyone into thinking I am the composer or player of this, I thought it would be interesting to get opinions of this piano sound. Looks like I can't fool anybody here, you're all obviously very familiar with your synths. You have to admit though, this M3 piano Wink sounds wonderful.

Actually, I've heard some fantastic solo piano pieces on the M3 using both pianos, the original 4 meg and the new sample set. Just plunking around with basic pieces, I really like them. The same with the later Motif/S90 pianos. Likewise, the dedicated digital pianos sound pretty darn tasty to me. If you're an acoustic player, many of you guys can't stand anything but the real thing. But I'd like to hear you guys mike up and record yours. Wink

Anyway, I dug that track too. AND by the way, the beginning is nicely exposed.

Wow, I'm glad it's not just me. I think the M3 piano sounds wonderful in this piece. Smile

As the author of this song I'm glad to see all those positive comments - I shall thank thee for such acts of kindness. Very Happy

Yes, the piano is M3 EX-USB-PCM03 piano. Original post here: http://www.karma-lab.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18325

I'm not getting into what sounds or keyboards are used because the track is strong enough to make any decent synth sound good. Great work ! ('Sounds Good')
