I have set up my EXP-2 pedal to emulate the JS+Y modulation in Global mode for my Kronos. When I boot up the Kronos and play a program, the pedal is in the back (off) position and the JS+Y modulation is active. I have to press the pedal down and back off to stop the modulation. From then on, the pedal works as expected: (pedal off - no modulation, pedal on - modulation).

I have connected the pedal's cable to the output 2 jack on the pedal based on the picture on the box. There was no manual included!

Is there a way to have the pedal default to 'off' at boot time?

Thanks.

You did save your Global settings right? Just checking.

Sure did. I just rebooted to make sure, went to Global P2:Controllers/Scales, then the Controllers tab.

Foot Pedal Assign is set to JS+Y (CC#01).
