Just FYI, there are many synths on which you can restore a SINGLE patch to its factory settings.

Examples :
• to restore the factory settings of a SINGLE patch of the User bank on the Rolands JV/XP series :
> PATCH > UTIL > PATCH INIT > Mode=PRESET
• to reload the factory settings of a SINGLE patch of an Internal bank on the Yamaha EX series from a factory floppy disk :
> DISK > LOAD > VOICE > select FACTSET1.S1Y file > select voice# to load from .S1V or .S1Y file > select destination bank# and voice#
• a similar procedure exists to reload a SINGLE Voice from a .W2V file on the MOTIFs

I guess you will need a librarian for that.

No librarian is needed, see the examples above.
