I haven't actually tried yet but since I'm switching form my old Triton to using my Kronos 73, has anybody programmed in a version of Jordan Rudess' Snarling Pig and/or Derek Sherinian's Monster lead sounds yet? I"m probably going to have to find a way to make my own versions of these sounds (which I'm okay with) but I'm also lazy! Which I'm also okay with!

If S4k hasn't done it yet, I'm sure they're working on it.

"Monster Lead" from the Trinity is hugely important to me, so it was the first sound that I ported. I like it better in the Kronos! Let me know if you need this, though it's a pretty simple sound to duplicate and even experiment with customizing.

I'm hesitant to upload this version of the sound because I'm working on a better way to get all the Trinity sounds.

I'd like it and I'm sure many would.

Thanks!

Monster lead was one of the patches i fell in love with when i heard the trinity for the first time, awesome patch! I would be glad if you shared the patch when you have finished it!

Regarding the other patches, I have created a lead inspired from the snarling pig, tho it's for the M3.... But I will most likely try to recreate this on the Kronos when I get mine. I actually bought the Liquid lead or w/e it was called from the S4K team, it was ok, sounds very close but IMO it's controlls etc were really bad mapped. But im sure they will recreate this for the Kronos, tho I will try to remap it from my M3 to Kronos instead.

I guess it's the Oasys pack that has been floating around... has to be. Are they anygood? Do they work directly or do they require some reporgramming etc to work with Kronos?

Since we're speaking leads here: does anyone have or- has had- the Prophecy and the Kronos? I'm curious if there is anything the Prophecy did which the Kronos is incapable of other than the obvious MOSS stuff...

I had a Prophecy and have the MOSS board on my Triton Extreme 76.
I'll really miss the MOSS capabilities not present in KRONOS, specially the brass and reeds. Not the best PM emulations of those instruments on the block, but it sounds good and can be used for so many exotic and exclusive sounds. Anyway...

AL-1 can mimic very well all the analog sounds from Prophecy and MOSS, it will depend on your patience and programming skills. Having both instruments for step by step workflow is the best idea. It will sound a little bit different though, and often better!

I had re-programmed one of my favorite lead patches from the Prophecy (Analog Fuzz - monophonic version) into the MOSS board, and now I'm doing it again from the Triton to the KRONOS. It's souding good!

I have the Trinity with the "Prophecy" and a Kronos. Can you get a little more specific? When I think of Prophecy, I think it's all often referred to by MOSS.

Perhaps you mean the brass and reed models? Those are definitely missing (and one of the reasons I'll keep my Trinity).

I would guess that the Prophecy's VPM could be handled by MOD-7 (though I haven't put this to the test).
