She's really good (and looks good too, but that's not really to the point here).
I have already long ago accepted I would never play as good as people like her, but that's a choice. I divide my time between more things; I guess she must have practiced a lot.
Btw, I don't like this song ... I like Jordan Rudess and her and how they play, but it doesn't sound really 'musical'. But, she plays really good and enjoyed watching/listening. _________________

Seriously though, did some digging and she's like a seriously schooled musician since like a toddler. Check out one of her other band practice videos. She actually walks AROUND the keyboard and then proceeds to play solos like that BACKWARDS! As if you walked up to someone and started soloing from the other side of the keyboard. Pretty sick.
Also, what about that "FERNANDO" guy in the "Waiting for Kronos" thread? Guy's a freak of nature. Plays Keys, Drums, Guitar, and Bass each with virtuosity. All he needs to do is sing like a bird and I'm hiring a hitman from the fairness police! |

Another important thing is that just because someone seems way better or maybe you even think they will always have more talent than you..... doesn't mean you have nothing to contribute musically. There's room for everyone. Just have fun and enjoy the music you make. _________________ Korg Kronos, RD-88, Yamaha VL1, Deep Mind 6, Korg Kross, author of unrealBook for iPad. |

That's true ... when we have a gig it's nice that all the listeners have an enjoyable time _________________

She's obviously practised a lot. Probably more than most of us and it shows. Very cool! I know I can't do that but I also don't have the time to dedicate to learning something that demanding. Ah, the joys of youth! _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

lol...+1.
I commented on the other thread about this - but yeah she is pretty absurd. I'm as impressed at her ability to copy the sounds, program the changes, the velocity switches, etc...but her playing ability is top notch.
Can I just be the first to point out the bass player at 3:00? I literally LoL'd. Think these guys had fun making this video? haha. |

On her website she says she's been practicing the piano since she was 3. |

Does she really have to wear the little thigh-highs while playing the keyboard better backwards than I do forwards?

What's the fuss all about LOL? I expect the best synthplayers to be on this forum . Yeah, I'll admit, she's good, but I am sure there are others here who do an even better job. It would take some time, but well, it's certainly not impossible.. _________________ Rick
