Most of us have sold a few keyboards over the years and regretted it. I wish I had every one I've ever owned even if I don't have room for them.
In order of the ones sold:
My first electronic keyboard, aan InstaPiano from Italy.
My Crumar DS-2 weird polyphonic synth and my Crumar Organizer, also both from Italy.
Don't really know why I was buying these Italian keyboards in Cananda except that at the time I liked the sounds of them.
The DS-2 had 2 oscillators, a variable pulse width and a sound that just screamed. The pitch bend was a lever that had just the right amount of resistance so you could actually do a proper vibrato like a guitar or violin player. Too bad it blew up! Couldn't find parts but the guy I sold it too said he thought he could fix it.
My Roland RS 202 String synth. Don't talk to me about this. Bad move.
Vintage Clavinet. Even older than the D6. Only 2 switches. Fed back better than a Les Paul and if I leaned into it I could bend notes. My band mates could not believe the sound! Another bad move but the hammer were shot and I could not find replacement part.
My Fender Rhodes Mark 1.
Okay. I admit it. I'm an idiot. Mind you I still have 10 keyboards right now. And even if one; my Polysix: isn't working, I'm still not doing too bad!
How about you? What are your regrets? _________________ I've got a Univox Minikorg, a Polysix, a Wavestation EX, and a Triton Pro-X. Been a Korg user since 1974. Now if I could just find out who stole my EX-800. I've finally got my Kronos 73 key! My main keyboard is my Monotron! I'm also a very bad man with 2 Roland U-20's and an E-Mu Proteus 2000 rack module plus an old Hammond M-3. |

my Oberheim OB-12 - didn't play it all that much and it wasn't a "true" Oberheim, but still had TONS of personality (and cool filters!). _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: Access Virus A ::: Redsound Darkstar XP2 ::: M-Audio Axiom49 ::: M-Audio Trigger Finger ::: Alesis TriggerIO ::: Alesis ControlPad ::: KorgNanoPAD ::: KorgNanoKontrolII :::

My KORG Trinity.
That keyboard was an absolute workhorse. I gigged 7 nights a week with one and at the end of the night, it was thrown into the back of a trailer and driven all over the country.
Sounded great and was built like a tank.
Regards
Sharp. |

| Sold a Korg X2 to buy a Triton 10 years ago only to realise just how much better the X2's piano sound was than the Triton...miles better! |

| I always end up missing a patch or two...more than that, I don't sell. I've still got a D70 I spent years customizing during my years of recording studio work...pads for every situation. I've never been able to really "get" that sonic glue from newer boards. Its getting long enough in the tooth now, that I'm afraid it's days are numbered-so, I'm going to make a concerted effort to get the pads replicated in the Kronos--even if it means sampling them-or aspects of the sounds. |

I sold my Roland D5 when I bought my Z1, but regret that now.
At the time I was only using it as a controller keyboard for various modules, but in retrospect that was a remarkably interesting and rich sounding synth engine. Basically the same as the D50 but without the internal effects. |
