Smile Kinda hoping now that the extra available programes, combi's and splits are out that the update is only a day away?

I'm almost sure you really don't need the RAM expansion for the upgrade, since:
- some items are unrelated to RAM
- Korg cannot expect that everybody upgrades RAM

I'm sure the update will blow our minds when it comes out since they spend more time making it! Very Happy. The editor software is most interessting to me though.

Officially mid October is over, however, one time I was on a project and we had to deliver in April ... we succeeded, on April, 40 (i.e. May, 10).

Korg Japan still have a release date of late October, maybe they'll hold back OS 1.5 to coincide with the release of the editor in November... hope not Sad

Ha - I'm in the midst of an SAP implementation project here at work. Massive system integration, data conversion, all that stuff, coupled with a very agressive schedule and some other things that I probably shouldn't interject my opinions on the internet. Go-live was supposed to be March 1st of this year (2011). Right now it's looking like it's going to be Q2 2012 (probably at the earliest).

Dates are just approximations....if its running a month late or so who cares, at least they told us and we know there is an update and what we can expect..

If you guys keep going on about it, next time round they wont say anything till its ready to be delivered.

Oct, nov or dec, who cares, at least you know its in the bag.

It's very nice they annonced the stuff in time! This way we can plan when to rearrange user programs into new banks, enjoy the thought of new material etc.

So if the Japanese site says that the OS update comes late october, we will get by these few days, will we? Lot's of stuff to do meanwile: sound programming, playing, composing: there's really no bore with a Kronos.
