This guy is not posing like some, with a big serious "look what I can do" face. Instead he is spreading pure music fun, technical curiosity and joy of life in what he does. His keyboarder skills, despite being stunning sometimes, come over lighthearted through this attitude.
When I had my new Fantom G, Jem reminded me to make the best of it despite running into it's nasty OS limitations all the time.
Now he has detected the Kronos:

One more example of someone understanding what a Kronos is, instead of just relying on some factory presets, and really making use of it's sonic potential and it's fat controller field. _________________ Kronos 73 - Moog Voyager RME - Moog LP TE - Behringer Model D - Prophet 6 - Roland Jupiter Xm - Rhodes Stage 73 Mk I - Elektron Analog Rytm MkII - Roland TR-6s - Cubase 12 Pro + Groove Agent 5 |

He is a genius, love his Frost* project.
I found about him when somebody posted some clips of him playing the M3 back in 2007 over at the Karma-Labs. Been a fan of him ever since. _________________ - Download & share Korg keyboard patches for free.

Jem is a legend!
What baffles me the most is that he is entirely self-taught, and MY GOD HIS CHOPS ARE AMAZING! |

And he's a nice guy, too (especially if you buy him a drink) - very approachable. I'm lucky enough to have tickets for this year's Frost gig at the Peel, can't wait! |

Got to jump on the bandwagon. I though his style was very cool after seeing him on the Fantom G series. I'm glad he is working on the Kronos, or at least demoing it. A very talented player! _________________ Kronos 2 61, Wavestation A/D, Yamaha Genos and others. |

I wonder if he has the new OS on that board - the colors in setlist mode look different (orange rather than yellow) _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: DSI Prophet 12 ::: DSI OB-6 ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Alesis Andromeda ::: Moog Sub37 ::: Sequential Prophet 600 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: GSI Burn :::

Always nice to see someone passionate about something. Even nicer with the kronos. |

Thanks for finding this demo.... It's probably one of the best I have seen so far, really giving a feel for what all the 9 engines are capable of (and not just sticking to EP's and acoustic pianos, like a lot of them do).
I must admit, I've not been blown away by the Kronos, in the hour or so that I spent with one - only in terms of me already having an M3 and not 'getting' the advantages of the K over the M3.
Having seen this video though, there's so much richness & depth in the sound which I didn't pick up on when I tried it....
I need to get back to the music store this weekend _________________ CURRENT GEAR: A yellowing Casio PT-80, 4 leaking batteries and some broken headphones.
