This is interesting .... but I'm wondering if MaxBlast was part of the problem here too? Are you sure it was able to clone the original Korg SSD properly?
MaxBlast is probably designed primarily for use by Microsoft Windows users, and I'm not sure it really clones Linux drives or partitions properly?
The Kronos runs a version of Linux, so to be sure you're cloning it properly, it might be best to try from a computer running Linux, using the Linux "dd" command to duplicate the SSD?

I then put the Toshiba back in and put the INtel on the spare SATA port. It failed again, same place.
It appears, as Dan mentioned somewhere else on this forum, that there really are hardware-checking routines to ensure no hardware changes have occurred. Well, nice try. |
