I love the Prologue Synthee, I played one yesterday.
If I had the funds I'd get one now but can't justify it at the moment. I'll no doubt buy one

Cool

Very good ! Congrats !
Did you do that only with Kronos ?

I like how the Kronos can sound analogue. Thats why I cancelled my Prologue.

Yes I know, both Kronos and prolouge, heavy investment, had to sell some oldies.

About 5 or so years ago I recorded this song that Steve Madden; the guitarist not the shoe guy: wrote. He wrote the music and lyrics. Steve sang the lead vocal and played all the guitar parts. We both sang backups. We used only my equipment as it was easier, He didn't need to carry anything on the but and I already have everything we needed. He had a drum track on a cd that he got from somewhere but I don't know where. All the production was done by me including the big Beatles type orchestral section at the end. To get the vocal through a Leslie speaker like john Lennon did, I ran the the already recorded vocal through the Leslie simulation effect in my Korg Kronos keyboard and re-recorded it. This was all done on my Yamaha AW16G recorder a year or so before I got my big music computer. The guitars were run through my Zoom effects pedal, into my little Fender guitar amp and recorded with probably my SM57 microphone. I probably had a tube pre amp on it as I almost always did back then. I really love the Wurlitzer electric piano sound at the beginning. That's my Kronos again. Have a listen and really get into the production of it. I'm very proud of this one.

More of what I consider middle of the road chill as if it were the 70's/80's Smile

We are surrounded by all types. People who play their games on us, expecting us to believe what is said.
Companies that steal our history or allow it to be taken without our knowledge.
Clues abound as they all hide in plain sight.

This is somewhat balanced by the good hearted caring people in our daily life.

This original song is about maintaining awareness of all that hide in plain sight.

100% composed/recorded on Kronos

Hey Lester, I admire the crystal clear recording quality.

I think message songs are very important and am impressed by your choice
of JFK. I did something similar in March with Dr M L Kings I have a dream
speech.

Balancing a speech with music is tricky- you did that masterfully with your song.

Hope you enjoy it! I did it quickly so there are a few iffy spots but hey! It's about the performance.

It's almost hard to believe that we are now near 60 pages of the songs from Kronos people section. Wow! So much of it is amazing too! Korg comes out with the Kronos and BAM! Songs are jumping out of the woodwork. Speaking of songs, here's one I just finished today. Since I've been off work the last couple of weeks I've been able to lock myself into my home studio and have a big fat ton of fun!
This is another one of my silly progressive rock things. Hope you like it. Most of the keyboard sounds are from the Kronos except the lead synth which is King Korg. The other instruments are real ones except for the drums which I play on a Korg Nanopad 2. Have a listen and I hope you like it.

Thats true and its hard to keep up with it all Embarassed

Ive been busy finishing my latest tune, but its not all kronos. Mostly analoge. I im now trying to make a tune with sounds i made myself (except first lead sound) . drums, bips and bleeps etc and that is time consuming ... Rolling Eyes

And the hits just keep on comin'!

Here's a song I quickly put together today. It's a country thing. It's also a purely fictitious scenario. Not about me and my wife or for that matter, anyone I know. Piano is a combi I built on my Kronos.
Hope you like it. Please have a listen.

https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/sweetest-things

This original upbeat pop instrumental was inspired by the many beautiful things in a day.

A beautiful sunny day, a pretty flower, the laugh of a child, the warm smile of a friend, a kind and surprising gesture, a happy bird in your yard, the love of your pet.

Its middle of the road and the instrument/parts might remind of the 70's/80's.
100% Kronos.

Hope you hear and feel the metaphor Smile
