Wow! More great stuff! I love the Rob Halford-inspired rock vocals from jeremykeys, gorgeous arrangements from GregC, and, as always, the lovely images paired with really cool guitar-lines from runningman67 (makes me feel like I'm sitting on the beach in Hawaii).

You guys should know, I have only about 5% of your music ability, but a lot of desire (I have an embarrassing amount of gear compared to my musical talent). Sure, I can punch out a few major chords and play a simple melody, but I really need to study my music theory to improve. My biggest problem is I can only create four measures of stuff at a time. I'll have to post some soundcloud idea-snippets so you guys can see where I'm at.

At least you guys are inspiring me to be better . . .

Thank you for listening to everyone's material. ! appreciate your remarks and time and that you are part of the Kronos community. Sharp had the right idea from the very beginning with us Korg keyboard owners.

I think we have found our ' tribe ' here. A friendly group of talented artists and K owners with a bunch of potential. The drive and diversity of skill here is awesome.

I agree! I frequent three different boards since I own keyboards from each of the Big Three—Yamaha, Roland, and Korg—and this board is by far the friendliest. Also, the Roland threads for older synths have extremely low participation where many posts go completely unanswered.

The Yamaha forum has incredibly strong vendor support from a real live Yamaha employee who answers questions in incredible detail; yet, the board doesn't feel as friendly or as welcoming. Though I own other manufacturer's flagship synths, KorgForums is definitely where I call "home."

I believe Korg supports this site by hosting it. Sharp has those exact details.

Korg is definitely benefitting from all the volunteer product support here.

Its strictly user based knowledge, but just the same many of the K owners have
excellent tech knowledge and hands on product knowledge- a strong combination. We are looking at knowledge going back to 2001.

Roland has excellent product support, phone, youTube, Facebook.
I think they have stepped it up and that is very important. I like the Clan
but just the same, Roland has it well covered, IMO.

You guys sound great! You first song reminds me of a time back on New Years Eve in 1996. I played in a band called Killer Bee based out of Sweden. Right before midnight we were supposed to play Final Countdown and my Roland U-20 decided to go for a poop. That was the one that had the melody sound on it. We renamed the song to the Final Meltdown! Embarassed

https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/sunny-day-dance

This song is different than my prior originals.
It is a ballad, with emotion. You can almost feel the slow dance.

Its also middle of the road, a pop song( ?), easy listening, not
complex. No fingertips were burned playing solos on Kronos Smile

It is my wife's favorite which is a good sign.

Thank you for listening.

Greg

I'm home with a hurt thumb but I can still mostly play. Here's a little something of me just noodling around.
What was recorded is exactly the way it came out. No click track so the tempo is a bit sketchy but I call that feel! Wink

Today is my anniversary. 9 years we've been together so I wrote my wife a song!

https://soundcloud.com/jeremykeys/my-song

Hope you enjoy it! I did it quickly so there are a few iffy spots but hey! It's about the performance.

Thanks.
The sampled JFK speech was using Roland 404a. Kronos sequencer and Tascam 24sd adding a few bits.
I like how the Kronos can sound analogue. Thats why I cancelled my Prologue.
Very Happy

I like your song runningman. Nice sounds and good production.

Yes, you are right that Kronos can do a great job sounding analogue.
But I must say that prologue has its own sound, not like the old analog synths from the 80:ths.
I had it for 2 weeks now and I got a Kronos 2 too, and prologue has a special sound that you cant get from Kronos.
Its hard to describe, but you can hear it more clearly live than in videos.
That said, everyone doesn't have to get a prologue, it depending on what sound you are after of course.
But for me it complement my Kronos well.

I made a song with sounds only from prologue and posted it in prologue section if you like to listen.
