|

Can't find the info here in the reference book so --
The Korg publicity states you can record vocals (with a style and voices) onto mp3 via the inbuilt TC helicon, with all effects and harmonies intact.
Can this be done in the Sequencer Quick record mode ? If not, how is the recording of the vocal achieved ?
And I presume it will require you to wear headphones so that you are not recording the sound of the style and voices through the speaker system?
In the process now of deciding whether to upgrade from PA2X so any advice appreciated |

Yes you can record the entire sound from the keyboard to MP3.
Sequencer mode (including Sequencer Quick record mode) records MIDI only, not audio, so there is no facility to record vocals during any sequencing - this is fairly standard on keyboards but could be achieved using a full blown sequencer on a PC or Mac.

That is definitely very sensible.
PA2X to PA3X? - I don't know as I haven't received mine yet however I decided to upgrade based on reviews on these forums and some excellent youtube demos. This is not the usual manner in which I evaluate keyboards but it is near impossible to get my hands on one to try out. Delivery times are extremely bad and I am considering delaying mine until mid next year if it doesn't arrive within the next 2 weeks.
Cheers
