Hi all,
we just started with a new online magazine named greatsynthesizers.com.
The name says it all. You can find reviews, interviews and the "Listening Room". The latter is a kind of audio database which will offer our visitors the possibility to listen to dedicated synthesizers, compare eg different Bass sounds, Sync sounds, Pads, etc. as well as modules, complete tracks recorded with just one instrument (eg OASYS at the moment) or tracks consisting of different instruments.
We are starting with a Stefan SCHMIDT interview: http://greatsynthesizers.com/en/interview/stefan-schmidt-creator-of-the-schmidt-e/
and a Moog Little / Slim Phatty review: http://greatsynthesizers.com/en/test/moog-little-slim-phatty/
... but that is only the beginning.
Peter / blogasys
ps: well... and it is bilingual
pps: well.. and that was exactly my posting # 1.000 here _________________ www.greatsynthesizers.com |

Looks good Peter
The only problem is that even choosing EN as the language still displays a lot of text in German. _________________ Mike Molloy

Hi Mike,
thank you for checking it.
Do you mean within the Moog Slim Phatty review and the Stefan Schmidt interview?

Aaah! I was worried about the interview, review and Listening Room.
We need to modify some things and this is one good example. Absolutely right. Thanks for reminding me.
All the best,

Thank you all for the kind words! I am very glad you like it as we spent a lot of time to get it done the way it is online now. For sure we have to improve some things but this will come by time.
The next review is on the way already. And... well let's see.
You probably saw it in the Listening Room, there are some OASYS demos. For those who read this and are interested in buying a KRONOS. KRONOS can sound exactly like that... but does not look as cool But that's a different story. I added a more or less new one which uses wave sequences, it is named "6th element"... well and my good old favourite is also there "FM track", showing just a small part of what MOD-7 is capable of.
