If I say I also expected how morshus patch would look, do you believe me?

For those who really know how the R3dias work and what are the important and irrelevant parameters for such a patch, just take a look at their numerical values here http://www.axxim.de/media/R3-Piano.jpg and judge by yourself (left is my patch in the web, right morshus)

Everybody knew he is a liar and impostor, but now he is also a thief. What a sad story Sad. Is it enough to get banned. Certainly it is enough to shut down dialog with him

Besides Morshu's obvious plagiarism, there's only one piano patch in the zip, and it doesn't remotely sound like the grand piano in The Antlers song "Kettering", which is what the original poster was looking for. This proves that Morshu has been wasting everyone's time with his BS. Of course, we forum regulars know his messages are pure BS, but now everyone else can compare the piano in the following link to the patch he uploaded to see for themselves how it's not even close to the goal of the original request.

Guys there are some subtle differences between my piano and AXXIM's

He has a two timbre sound, I have a one timbre sound, and many of my variables are a tiny bit different, and all my patch settings are completely different, You guys dont have a microkorg so I can't show you the one that sounds like what he wants, I can't replicate the microkorg one in my r3 as when i copy the settings from the microkorg to my r3, it sounds absolutely nothing alike. If you want i will post the settings to see if you guys can figure out why. BTW its not really plagiarism, theres this thing called coincidence.
plagiarising other peoples patches is a thing of the past mind you guys, look at the DX7 and its copy protection. Everything is fair use today anyway.

Everyone deserves a second chance. If members are warned and still continue to break the forum rules then they may very well be banned.

exactly: simply change this or that parameter just a little (subtle) to make it NOT equal. It could be called sub(tle)stractive synthesis.

Morshu wrote:

If you had learned something about synthesis instead of buzzing around here you had known what the second timbre is for

Morshu wrote:

Yes you changed notably all parameters that make no effect on the sound like the LFO's and EG3.

How big is the probability that two "programmers" with different knowledge, taste and imagination on how a piano sounds will adjust exactly the same numeric values for: 2xFilter-Mode, 2xFrequency, 2xResonance, 2xOSC, and 2Envelopes Amp, Overdrive, etc. except for 2 or 3 subtle variations?

I think this sentence explains it all. You put yourself in evidence.

see my comment above..

I don't mind people using my patches and enjoying them, this is for what I have made them. What I don't tolerate is people that without taking any effort take the works or efforts from others for their own. This kind of people is what causes such economic crysis like whe have at the present and I really hope they get smashed like parasites what is what they are!

you may have a point but there is still the possibility that it is similar coincidently, as the R3 is not the most complicated synth in the world.

And the microkorg proves nothing, my microkorg piano is entirely different than the one i have on the r3.

And those patch things are doing some notable things to the sound, it may not seem like it, but they are.

compare the sound of your patch to my patch and you will notice the difference, its not like they are the same.

btw, its not all the unlikely that I made this patch similar to yours, because it is very common to create pianos using sine and tri waves, and the combinator adds a certain edge to the sound anyway,

sorry for any misunderstanding.

Well, I have said what I think and will end it here.

You should ask yourself why did you joined this forum?
If you did it to learn and get the most from your devices then you should consider your behavoir and ask yourself if its you or the whole rest of us who are acting without any common sense.
If you joined just for fun and like to mix up the things then it surely will end pretty soon in which case I may ask: what for?
