I don't really want to recreate these sounds exactly, I was just wondering what is going on in the sound to produce its particular effects. They come from the Flux (Metal on Metal Remake). The first one starts at about 30 seconds, the second at about 1:21.

So what is going on in those sounds and can it be replicated on an R3? |

Simple really. It sounds like a pulse wave being controlled by the LFO. _________________ Korg R3, Roland SH-201, Roland MC-808, M-Audio Axiom 49. |

| So that would be just patching an LFO to an oscillator with a pulse wave shape? |

I don't have my r3 with me but I'm sure it would. _________________ Korg R3, Roland SH-201, Roland MC-808, M-Audio Axiom 49. |

To be specific, it'd be patching a LFO to the pulse width of a pulse oscillator. _________________ Korg R3 | Korg iMS-20 | Korg iElectribe | Roland Gaia SH-01 | Moog Slim Phatty | NI Maschine Mikro | NI Razor | Logic Pro 9
