Hello, i'm a new owner of the microsampler.
I owned RC20, RC 50, ehx smmh, sp-555. Still own the smmh, the others just a piece of crap, prooved in practice.
So, i found the microsampler the great tool to do everything i wanted to.
I tried to use the workaround for live looping with pattern sequencer.
So, i'm making a midi file with notes from the lowest one on the ms like
1/32, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 one note for the 1/32, four notes for others.
And when i'm import the midi file, strange things happen.
At first, it counted every quarter end not like 4/4, like 5/4. So it goes like 4/4, 4/4, 4/4, 5/4. WTF???
And then it became ok. But the notes were off after a 16-th bar, even if i've set it to 64. And i'm import it back to the fruity loops, there.. 64 bars of notes. WTF?????
I just can't get it, each time the same actions takes different effect.
And the question about the firmware. I know, this is an unofficial Korg forum. So, did anyone get the official Korg support email or something? Is there was an official denial about the loop quantization, overdubbing and loop play right after it was recording, or noone has tried to email the Korg company directly? |

It seems like i'm getting used to it.
http://rghost.ru/35773014 improvised looping performance. All without a foot-controller. It still feels wery uncomfortable that you need to specify a sample leight before the recording. It would be much more comfortable if it would quantize the recorded loop...
Still, there's a question - does anybody connected to the Korg directly? Maybe we could ask some Korg endorcers and they would do it? |
