Hello - I know RTFM - I have again and again. Searched all over and I see other people with this problem but NO real fixes posted.
Symptoms are that occasionally the Keyboard will lock up (sustained sound or no sound).
The LCD screen will display
System Error
Error 97 Decimal....61 HEX - Bad File Handle SYS
Bad File Handle Sys .........\...\cdmapp.apg
So being somewhat technical I have updated the OS to 1.5.1. I have done a Factory Reset........Still persists. However shaking it makes it work again - for awhile.
I also took it to a Korg Authorized Service Center and they found nothing after spending $75.00 for them to "inspect it".
From the error it points at a corrupt file......?
Love the Keyboard - but if it craps out doing my set - its not only useless - its also a liability.........
I appreciate any and all suggestions.
THANK YOU!!!! |

Have you contacted Korg support?
They can probably give more info about it and help you further. _________________

Sounds like a loose connection. Take apart and check all connections. Something loose could be grounding itself to something inside the board making the problem happen intermittently. Check any sample ram and make sure its seated firmly (if installed). Same with sample expansion board. _________________ Korg Kronos-61, Yamaha Motif XF-61, Korg Triton Le-61, Korg R3, Roland JV1080, Roland D-5, E-MU Classic Keys, Kawai Q-80 Sequencer |
