Looks like there will be a Mini KP2 announced as well judging by the teaser image. Would have liked them all in one to be honest. |

not sure what to think about these yet....
obviously we need more info, the specs on the kaossilator2 and minikp2 arent enough. One thing to note is the kaossilator 2 has an mic input, and the specs mention a sampling frequency, so Im guessing it now has that feature? |

so the new kaossilator looks like you can store and fade between 2 rhythms
and the new mini kp has a play button...which makes me think it can record or play back loops, or maybe even effect motion!
and both have mic inputs...so I am guessing we will be able to insert external audio and possibly even record it and play it back! _________________ youtube videos, lots of korg goodness http://bit.ly/n7sVak

other than the fact that it looks like a cheap cell phone from 2000 |
Yeah, my initial thought as well. Not crazy about the design at all.
Number of things intrigue me about the kaossilator 2 on first glance:
* Are the "I" and "II" two different tracks that can be turned on and off?
* The move to stereo mini jack out, should be more helpful as I am always misplacing my RCAs to whatever cables.
* Is the -...........+ slider volume? Something else?
* I like the display showing the name/type of synth. No need to look at reference chart.
* SD card!
* Mic line in!
Both of these will be instant buys. |
