Thanks for posting them, but as Rikki and I have already discussed privately they do not ALL run properly in the PA2...
a lot need some severe tweaking, and in fact those style tracks that use Guitar mode 2 (from PA3) really need all those guitar tracks deleted....sounds awful..as do some of those that access the newer drumkits on the PA3...
Having said that, there are definitely some that are worth keeping and optimising for the PA2 system...But the caveat is that all need some optimising...some a little, some a lot..
In regards to a conversion program, no there is none. |

Hi Dennis,
there is EMC, it's got quite a few bugs at the moment in regards to PA3X conversions, though.
I keep having style tracks dissapearing. All sorts of wierd stuff.
Haven't tried Danni's conversions, must have had better luck than what I did.
There's probably somewhere between 50 to 100 styles that are brand new, Some have new intro's & endings, whereas the basic style is still the same.. The rest are the same as on the PA800 except for the 4 fills, plus they're tweaked to make the most of the PA3X features & sounds.
I've been working on putting a list together.

Within style edit mode you can export the style as a standard MIDI file, edit the file in a sequencer (Remove V4 and guitar mode tracks) and import it into PA2X.
Any chance to get those styles in SMF format? |

These KORG Pa3X factory styles converted for KORG Pa2X-Pa800 will also, of course, run in the Pa500. Thanks dani_korg |
