So- I feel pretty stupid on this, especially since google doesn't seem to be helping me.

I purchased a Dual 1/4' TS to 1/8' TRS Y-cable.

And I can't figure out which 1/4' is left and which is right for stereo sound.

One is labeled ring and red, the other tip and gray. I feel like I should be able to find an obvious answer to which is L/R with this information, but I can't seem to.

Any advice?

Red is usually right, grey/white is left. Think about it as Red and Right.

T -

Gotta say, not much here make me want to laugh like this post does.

If it's not sounding like the left is left unplug and switch. No computer required.

Hope your speakers are wired right...

...to right.

I don't have the speakers yet :p I ordered some Rokits, they're coming in Friday.

I'm just curious so I don't need to put the 5 minutes of effort in to test them out...

though on second thought, it's more like 20 seconds of effort.

I have the smallest Rokits and I like them a lot.
