I use Zeiss wipes. Safe for fine or coated optics and gets it sqeaky clean.

Used one made for an IPad and cut it to fit. Works fine here. Need to leave a tiny bit of space around the perimeter or it won't work. Doesn't seem to need cleaning often.

I've customized a scratch guard film designed for MacBook and use it on the screen.
I've left a tab at one end to be able to remove it if required. Haven't had the need to clean it often though... on the contrary, i had more need to clean the screen before using the protective film.
Hope in the long run it doesn't do any harm... anyone had issues? |
