i agree, the kronos has a lot of tricks available for sculpting sounds. Another really nice trick is to use the oscillator section of one model and route that sound output to another EXI model. That also gives a lot of extra sound design possibilities.
Also using the step sequencer and use that for modifying parameters controlling the sound is a really nice trick. That is what i like the most of the Kronos, the limit is just my own creativity and every day i keep discovering new tricks. |

is there any interest in a tutorial about using Wav files as backing tracks to play along with?
There are a lot of need to know things to use this feature the right way. I'm using this feature a lot the last days and it's great to have the original artist singing the track while you play the main parts of the track. |

Anything like that can be useful. As you wrote - so many potential tricks on the Kronos.
I'm sure that (wave files as backing tracks) would be helpful in many ways. |

Hello Qui,
It's been a long time since you posted your tuto !
Well, in order to follow it easily, it would be nice to get the Combi you used (Goa Dance Island QR). I got the Program "Goa Dance Island QR in your Spectracinematic soundset, but I didn't find any Combi with this name.
Would it be possible to have it ?
Thank you very much. |

correct, the combi isn't included and was just created for this demo.
I never released the combis for the kronos, because a lot of the sound programming is done in the combi itself. It was impossible to release the combis once the kronos had 2 program order versions (kronos 1 and kronos X versus Kronos 2).
This makes it impossible to share combis, especially if you reprogram sounds in the tone adjust tab and in my opinion it's probably also the reason why you see only a few combis for sharing or sale instead of thousends of combis that you would expect for a workstation like the kronos. |
