Hi there,
Forgive me for being clueless here haha but I'm needing to know basically what leads i need to connect a KP2 to an EMX-1.
If anyone could fill me in it'd be much appreciated, perhaps even suggest which to buy.
Thank you anyway to whoever replies. |

| read the manuals, look at the gear, buy cables that have connectors that fit the KP2 at one end, and have connectors that fit the EMX at the other end. problem solved. |

I really don't understand how anyone hopes to use something like an electribe if they can't plug a few cables in, but here you go, you probably want something like the ones here:

Cut them some slack, they admit to being "clueless" and just want to do some initial research. I think we've all found ourselves asking what turned out to be "dumb" questions more than once on here.
YOU'LL NEED:
-two 1/4"-to-RCA cables
-two RCA-to-<YOUR> cables
+you'll also probably want a MIDI cable so that you can sync the tempo to the KP2's effects
-a cheap 1/4" connection mic to use the KP2's kickass autotune (patches 87+88 ). I have one that's made by a company called Audio Technica that should be available anywhere that has an Electronics Section (Best Buy, shitty Walmart, etc.) for about $10-20. Just make sure it's got a 1/4" tip (same as a guitar or pro headphones) and you're all set.
Let us know if you've got any more questions, but if you're just gonna tweak presets then fuckoff. |
