Does anyone know if Garritan Personal Orchestra (and/or Garritan Instant Orchestra) can somehow be imported into the Kronos? _________________ Check me out at PianoManChuck |

Extreme Sample Convert does a very good job of extracting sounds from VSTi's
I have the complete Orchestral Collection from East West and I've ported over a few sounds from that into my OASYS effortlessly.

James, why ESC is very bad with extracting Stereo Sounds from VSTi?
It works a lot better on Mono, like if you are extracting from any EWQL
the Strings is almost NEVER possible to do it with ESC. The samples are
allways with incorrect length, noises and stuff. _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

Hi Nedim.
No, there is only one way you can do this in ESC correctly with East West Libraries and that's to use the Real Time Converter. If you go with the normal high speed method it will not work at all. You will hear intentional noises dumped into your samples and the sample lengths will be all wrong.
The only way to do it flawlessly is to use the real time option. Trust me, I've done this and I know the normal way does not work.

Thanks James,
i always use the VSTi Converter, not the VSTi RealTime Converter, i actually
never figured it out how to use that since there is no Load function to Load
the Instrument it self...if you can shed any light on this function.
Thanks _________________ http://www.basaristudios.com

This is a PERFECT example of why I wish Sample Streaming was a user available option. These types of libraries eat that RAM up quick! _________________ Korg: KRONOS 73, M50-61, 01W/r

In the CONVERTER window, select VST FOLDERS, and add the folder where your VSTi's are to the list.
Now select VST RACK.
Click on the first box that says empty to load your VSTi for sampling.
The rest is the same as sampling the normal way.

Extreme Sample Convert? That sounds hopeful... where can I find that? _________________ Check me out at PianoManChuck |
