Sorry. Didn't get a chance to hear you yet, my wife is sleeping.
As far sounds we will never use, and that is what this thread is I think, probably guitar. I have fooled around with a lot of the guitar patches and can't seem to find anything yet; and that is the big yet!; that works for me. I also play guitar so I don't always have a need but I thought it could be cool to use it in a song.
Conversely though I am using a modified guitar patch live. I have it blended with some other sounds although it is in the forefront. This happens when our lead singer/guitar player does a lead and wants a heavy chunking rhythm underneath.
