The demo of the legendary strings sounded good to me, but they had too much vibrato for my taste. I hope that much vibrato is not built into all the samples. |

I wonder what changes the 1.6 OS update will have? Looking forward to "2-3 weeks" from now. _________________ Yamaha S80, Kronos 61. |

this guy seems like a good player and a good guy, but he's a terrible salesman for the Kronos. It sounds like he read the product brochure yesterday. A couple things he said about how the Kronos works are outright wrong. _________________ ::: Korg Kronos 88 ::: Alesis Fusion 8HD ::: Kurzweil PC361 ::: Roland V-Synth ::: DSI Prophet 12 ::: DSI OB-6 ::: Korg Prophecy ::: Moog Micromoog ::: Yamaha CP-30 ::: Alesis Andromeda ::: Moog Sub37 ::: Sequential Prophet 600 ::: Korg MS2000BR ::: GSI Burn :::

I think he did a good job, and he sure played well, which in itself is a good sales pitch for how great the K can sound. As it relates to the editor, he was very matter of fact about the timing of the "1.6 update"....sounded authentic to me. Here's hoping....if for no other reason so we can stop stewing about it on these forums! _________________ http://soundcloud.com/ronf-3/sets/ronf-music

2 to 3 weeks........
well, just don't hold your breath, the guy
seem's nice but not to much ''aware''
wouldn't be surprise if someone from Korg
denies that news very soon.

ver 1.6 and the editor seems joined at the hip. This makes sense.
his words on timing seems to be the best of his knowledge. I see no need for anyone to get negative about that. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

I'm not sure how aware he seemed but he was pretty specific about the OS version and editor. 2 to 3 weeks could turn into 4 or 5 I suppose but it's close. _________________ Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha). |
