I recorded all of this and mixed it on my K-73.
The guitar was my Ibanez Les Paul copy run through my Zoom G1XNext into a Behringer Tube Ultragain Mic100 to the Kronos input. I also used my Mexican Strat that way but with the waw waw setting on the zoom for the second lead guitar at the end. The vocals were put through my Behringer tube ultragain T1953. Sorry but I can't remember the exact settings on the mic pre's. I sang into an Apex 535 large diaphragm condenser mic.
I do have a big question though.
Is anybody besides me doing serious rock songs on the Kronos? I'm not knocking what other people are doing. Please understand that. A lot of what I've heard is truly amazing. I'm just surprised that I haven't heard any kicking rock songs. The Kronos excels at this. It is SO easy to get a ripping organ sound. All the great old-school rock sounds are there. Making a screaming lead synth sound takes a minute or two.

I hope you all like this.
Please let me know what you think.

Still no go
Can't wait to hear it though. One of the things I was drawn to with the Kronos was the tone wheel model which was perfect for my psychedelic/prog rock band ... _________________ Current Equipment:

That's strange. I tested it from my last post. I'll have to fix it whenI get back. Gotta go to work now. Hmmm. _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

If I go to your soundcloud page (drop everything in the link after "jeremykeys"), there's a few songs listed, but nothing listed by that name (shoot for the moon). _________________ Check me out at PianoManChuck |

Nope.
Ha, yes, I've been doing harder stuff (prog/fusion/metal) for years with the Korg sound as my base. Organs, guitar-like patches and wah leads all overdriven using the onboard effects since the Trinity. The Kronos is simply superb for this stuff.
That said, I now spend most of my personal playing time with the German grand. _________________ Kronos 61, Kronos2-88, Hammond B3, Baldwin SD-10 |
