|
|
Hi.
How do I reset the changes I made to a sound (knob movements).
For example, if I selected PIANO 001, moved the knobs (cut off, pitch, etc), and I want to go back to the original sound.
Even if I change sound, let's say select MARIMBA, all the changes I applied to the previous sound are still applied to the new sound.
How can I start fresh?
Please help!!!!
Thanks a lot. |

If you haven't save the pattern yet, one way is to twist the knobs that you changed and watch the little screen. When you are back to the original setting it will lite up a little box that says "orig" or something like that. It will be the original setting since last pattern save or when starting a new pattern.
Does that make sense?
I think you can also reset it with clear part (shift-7). Can't remember for sure.
Hope that helps a little. _________________ Korg Gear: Electribe EMX-1SD, microSAMPLER, Mini Kaoss Pad 2, monotribe (now with MIDI), monotron, nanoKey, nanoKontrol2, nanoPad2

THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR HELP.
CLEAR PART, ONLY CLEARS NOTES. ANY CHANGES YOU'VE MADE TO SOUNDS, WILL NOT BE ERASED.
AS YOU SAID, ANOTHER WAY IS TO MOVE KNOB BY KNOB UNTIL EACH OF THEM IS BACK TO THE ORIGINAL VALUE. IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME, AND NOT ALWAYS WORKS RIGHT.
ANYWAY, THANKS AGAIN. |

| I think that's all there really is available. If you want to copy a sound or a part (even from another patch!) you can always use the Copy Part function, but as far as I know there's nothing aside from clearing the entire pattern to get rid of knob settings for a part. |
