Skyward* wrote: | Greetings, in the last two months I completely overhauled my studio. I sold all my old stuff all except for my two Korg Trinities (61key Plus and 73key Pro) I purchased a brand new 73key Korg Kronos, Tascam DM-3200 Mixer fitted with a firewire expansion card. I also built a new Win7 64bit 8core AMD system to run it all with Sonar X1 Production Suite...Getting everything set up was a breeze. Took a little reading, a little experimentation, and a couple hours...Well-AH!....Just when I thought everything was going so smooth and perfect, it came time to set up the Kronos...HOLY $__+!!!...I have never run into a more difficult and cryptic synth in my life!...1..can someone please give me the MSB and LSB values for the banks so that I can do the math to write the .ins file for Sonar?....There are a few .ins files out there, but they are not complete...I seek to build a complete workstation .ins..I don't care if it takes a year ...I also need an outline for the text scripting language that Sonar uses for .ins files ..I understand it for the most part, but from looking at other instrument definitions I see several other lins of script that I dont understand how they work such as [*] <---what the hell does that mean? Are there more commands other than just .Patch names or .Note names?...I have searched the Kronos manuals searching for the Program change type, and im assuming it must be #1 because all the banks are not the same ..some are 0-127 and some are 1-128..and there is one bank that's 0-95! Am I making this more difficult than it needs to be?...or is it a situation where what I want is a totally different animal than what I actually can get?.... Thanks |
The Editor can generate a Sonar .ins file I think. |
