If you don't need the editor, perhaps you can step back to 1.5?
At least if i recall corrdctly and this was a new issue introduced in 1.6...
There were a few threads on doing this downgrade and i believe it should be possible without a factory reset.

Youni,

I hear your pain. When I use to own Kronos 61, I could not use it for that exact issue Mono Legato and PolyAfterTouch *AMS) to Detune the Kronos. Korg is aware of the problem and never gave me an answer whether it will be fixed or not.

The bottom line, I sold my Kronos.

Youni,

I would suggest you contact your Korg Country Distributor to report the bug. If it can be reproduced easily then Korg Japan could work on it.

However, reporting it is the first step.

Its no use of reporting it, all of Korg's personel know about it.
It was an issue with the Tritons, with M3 and now Kronos.
I guess by the time the new WS comes out this will be fixed.

Does Korg Japan agree it is a bug?

Martin,

Why does KORG Japan have to agree that it's a bug, when the whole world of Arabic musicians know and faced the issue. KORG was reported and nothing was done to correct it. If it wasn't a bug or lack of feature, KORG could have instructed the musicians how to get the correct scaling. As Nedim said, this has been going on since Triton.

It is a bug and the same feature works on M3 and Triton series even with Trinity.

I am very disappointed.....

Of course it is a bug Martin, them agreeing or not it doesnt really matter.
It didnt work on Trinity, Triton and M3, then they fixed it...which means
they agreed it was a bug...

Well, on a different note: can anyone comment on the world music set for the Kronos which is listed under ak's signature? As I find the stock Kronos world/ethnic sounds a bit lacking, though still thoroughly enjoyable, any 3rd party world/ethnic Kronos soundsets would be a welcome addition (although the $350 price tag seems a bit daunting).

Younis, Nadim, and Tony,

I am hoping that both Korg USA and Japan are reading this post.

Korg we need a solution for this issue or let us know that it will not be fixed.
