Is there a CLOCK-IN for the R3?

I would like to sync the Arpeggiator on the R3 with one of my drum machines (TR-808, R-8, etc.) and I usually do this by slaving the arpeggiator to the drum machine with Clock In.

Or is there a better way to do this?

That's a feature not commonly found since the invention of MIDI over 20 years ago.

MIDI allows clock synchronisation, by setting the R3 to External Clock mode and plugging a cable into the MIDI In.

Of course, you will need to use that with a device which has a MIDI Out and transmits Clock messages.
