Some of you guys, as faithful Oasys owners, may have received codes valid to purchase Kronos expansion banks.

For those of you who will not be using these codes because you're not buying a Kronos, please consider giving them to Kronos owners as these codes will expire at the end of May.

They may as well be used !

Thanks.

Edit: List of people interested in receiving a code:

Francois - done
Mohous - done
X-Trade - done
Basari - done
MarPabl - done
dany 6 - done
martinhines - done
qui - done
michel - done
youni - done
pearl1977 - done

Note: With what I already had, I now have everything. But I know people who don't, so I can pass on codes to others as well if anyone has any more. Thanks !

Hello François,

That's a good idea.

I'm a new owner of a Kronos, and will accept with pleasure such a gift.

Thanks Wink

I'm afraid I have already given mine away, but I would wholeheartedly encourage fellow OASYSians to do the same.

Hi all, I'd be happy to give mine away.

What are people doing to make it a fair giveaway (first come first serve) or something else?

Ian

I guess there's two ways:

1. First come, first served

or

2. in order of the posts in this thread?

(Either way Francois seems to be the lucky guy!)

Thanks for offering them

By the way, thank you Ianhu

Thanks for your code Ian. That was very generous of you.

In the spirit of this sharing, I will also share with mohous who was next registering an interest. As there's only one code, I will have to order for both him and myself but that way two benefits from the code. He can get one bank and I'll get the other.

Whoever gives a code next, it should go to X-Trade, who perhaps could also share with someone else depending on the value of the code given.

Keep them coming !

Ok I have also been meaning to do this for some time so while this thread is here to remind me, I also have some spare authorisation codes, but not quite sure what I need to do. I already bought the MOD-7, LAC-1 and Brass and Woodwind EXs3 expansion packs several years ago so I don't need these same free packs myself and am not planning to to buy a Kronos or another OASYS, so I hope I can give these free expansions away as several others here have already done.

I have read the "Dear OASYS User" letter from Korg and in that is a link to korguser.net. But not quite sure what to do then. If I enter my own OASYS Public ID, will the authorisation code still work on the machine of the other person who wants them, or do I need their Public ID first?

If someone who has already given their auth codes to someone else could let me know what I should do, I would really appreciate it, and I am sure who ever wants them will also be grateful Smile

Cheers

Hi,

although I am not planing to buy a Kronos I wanted to get with my codes some expansions ´cos in case my Oasys dies ....
now I found out, that there is to register a bought Kronos before you can purchasing the libs and use your Oasys codes.
Am I´m doing something wrong or can´t I buy now the libraries and maybe later on a Kronos? Am I´m forced to first buy a Kronos and the can use my codes? That cannot really be true?

still hope that I´m missing something but a certain feeling is growing

best regards
