Good morning:
I am a newbie so please bear with me. Does the editor/librarian allow one to set the sampling type for a particular sample?

Thanks!

Yes, you can. You can pretty much change anything from the Librarian. You have to upload it back to the microSAMPLER afterwards, though.

Can you tell me where that is set on the editor? I don't see the Sampling type.

It is the main tab that comes up with the waveform display on the bottom. You can set all the sample parameters there for each key. The tab is called "Edit Samples".

Is that what you are looking for? What do you mean by sampling type? How do you normally do it on the microSAMPLER itself?

I am trying to set one sample to be One Shot whereas the other would be a Gate for example. I don't see those options on the OSX version of the editor.

See if this link helps you:

You have you set the loop off for one-shots and make sure your release is right. Gate would have the loop on and then adjust as needed.

Hope that helps.
