I did this in about 2 hours with the Kronos. It is a very short piece.... The beginning is just me having fun with synthesis, then the island song happens. It is so easy to write with this instrument. It has been a long time since I have posted on Korgforums. Enjoy and have a great day!

I should also say that this song (and island feel) is due to the generosity of Dimitry's (Synthkeywizard) Hangdrum samples. Thank you, sir!

Very nice. I enjoyed how your "synth" intro morphed into the island section. Great choice of sound elements.! Very Happy

Nice work! Cool like the song, hey in your intro, 13 secs to around 20 seconds, how did you do that? is that the vector morphing?

That sound is from a STR-1 program. I use the vector joy stick to simulate scraping of the strings then I use the IFX to distort that sound a little further before the next sound comes. It is all set up on that program automatically... Thank you Korg programers! She is pure fun!

Hey, Tom, I really enjoyed that. Glad you migrated to the KRONOS. I'll bet you're having tons of fun with it. Post more...

Thanks Jim, everytime I turn on the Kronos, I am having too much fun. This is the most fulfilling instrument I have ever owned. The grand piano is where I live most of the time, when I am not doing commercial work. Most of the things I have written are connected with others (TV, the net) so my posting has been minimal here. I will try to do more.
