|
|
I have loaded USB-Midi Driver on my PC and trying to connect PA3X to PC.
Using a STD 2.0 male /male plug to connect via Host(R) port on the PA3x. When I go the media/USB page PA3x screen says; HD connection , disable and enable. Under these two boxes it sates voluem label KHD_User cannot be renamed.
When I push enable, the enable button goes green and the screen remains the same (except enable is green).
Questions
1. Should I be using a male/male USB lead via the host (r) plug or should I use the device input (next to the USB).
2. Why does the screen stay in the media area?
Also, I can't see the PA3X showing up on my PC?
Any help would be appreciated.

1. Use the "Device" input to connect to your PC.
2. You can't operate your Pa3X while having an active PC connection, so the screen remains fixed until you press "Disable".
After connecting the Pa3X to your PC and pressing "Enable", it takes about 1 minute to show a new "removable drive" in Explorer; it takes another minute to show "KHD_User".
All this time the led above the Media button flashes and you cannot access the HD via Explorer.
