Hi there,

I have a Korg M3. I exported just one track to my M3. when I listen to the midi file, it sounds the way I recorded in my computer so is good but the problem I am having is that when I change the sounds or instruments and loop it on the M3's sequencer the sounds or instruments dont stay where I decided on what instrument I want. just keeps going back to the sound i first recorded. here is the procedure of what i do. please any help on this Midi problem will be highly appreciated it

--M3's sequencer-
--track 1 piano
--Imported MIDI track to track 1
--play track
--loop track from measure 1 to measure 4
--playback
--auditioning sounds from M3's sequencer
--when measure 4 is finished and new measure 1 plays back it "erases" the instrument or sound and keeps the standard piano sound that I recorded it

You probably have Program Change MIDI command in your imported MIDI track that brings you back to Grand Piano..
Go event edit mode, find program change event and remove it.

Thank you very much for the answer... i actually found the solution myself just minutes ago and decided to come to the forum and post it in case other users have the same issue. the problem i had was that the time was set to 120 and couldnt change it as well. So i found out that my korg sequencer was set as auto not manual. I never imported midi to my korg m3 and found it somehow confusing. But hey u never stop learning Wink
