It's possible that the Ram stick inside the Kronos is loose.

Kronos is just like a common computer and there we face just the same hundreds of
possible malfunctions and unfortunately can't be solved with speculations as I'll also do.
According to my experience and since system freezes after resource loading at finalize
stage then 2 malfunctions seem to be possible : corrupted SSD sectors or damaged OPS file.
Normally you should visit official repair center (under warranty) but you can try
yourself alternative options you can find in manual "KRONOS_Update_and_Restore_E2".
My advice is as first option to use "4.Initialize Memory" & then "2.Full Install".
Then install newer OPS v 1.6

Hope this help you !

try to read your manuals..

AFAIK you have to use external drive.

Only by formatting option user data will be lost otherwise "USERS" file will
be untouched , only "FACTORY" file will be restored to initial state.
Also "4.Initialize Memory" option I suggested both files will be at latest state and
you have to restore only Factory vacant places.
Anyway reading manuals is the best option for DIY procedures.
