Hi,
just wondering if anyone has shared the missing PA800 styles that aren't on the PA3X?
Is there any reason why they CAN't be shared??

Since you own both arrangers then do it yourself !
Pa800 >> Media/Preferences un-check Factory Styles Protection box then select
save/open all ,open shown Factory styles groups and choose what to load on
Pa3X vacant user or favorite places.

Hey Rikki
I haven't done that as yet but I was playing my friend's PA800 a couple of weeks ago when I visited the USA (I used to have PA2XPro) and found styles with the same names but DIFFERENT to any PA2Xpro styles - this is also true of PA588 styles.
PA800/PA2Xpro/PA588 - there are several differing styles (with the same names!!!)
I'd like to get ALL these styles together and sort them out - probably several days to do it!!!! ....then add all that to the PA3X styles.
(GEE THIS PA3X IS AWESOME - can't get enough of it)
Cheers
Pete
PS - LOVE the PA3X new "Blues" style....

Hi Pete,
I've actually done it for the pa800 styles ( there's quite a few).
Fortunately I had both keyboards so made process of comparing a tad easier.
Did it over several weeks actually, checking, rechecking, still might have the odd double up.. They've got same names, they've moved genre's etc some have only got new intro's/endings.
What I was really wondering was, whether it would be ok to share, don't want to get into some sort of copyright trouble??
I can't imagine Korg would have a problem with it?? It's helping new PA3X owners all said & done..
I normally don't share factory styles, just stuff I've converted or created, ie I've had some input into the process.
Save you a lot of work. haahaa PA588 styles I didn't have access to.

Hi Antony,
thank you.
Main reason I was asking if anyone had already done them, is, I spent a lot of time doing just that.
I'd be kicking myself if someone else had already done them & shared, and I had just wasted all that time for nothing. Be just my luck haahaa

Hi Rikki, I cannot see how there would be any breach...all the styles are all upwards compatible so obviously Korg have no issue with users loading their styles from previous incarnations...
I would be interested to get a copy of the 800 styles that are missing from the PA3...I guess you have created alternate names?
Cheers

Hi Dennis,
I imagine that would be the case.
No, I just saved them into my Favourites slots, Had grand ambitions of editing the 2 duplicated fills, ( to have 4 different fills instead of the 2x2 PA3x defaults 2) but quite frankly , a lot of the styles I'd probably never use anyway.
I did do a spreadsheet though. Didn't want to miss any & I wanted to know what was what, not just have banks of random styles.
I've been editing some of the user styles I did for PA800 to suit PA3X
( 4 fills instad of 2) XG mapped drumkits for my psr conversions etc. Fudged a Ketron mapped kit for my ketron conversions.
I've got to get my 4 shared site back up so I can post the styles.
It just dissapeared all of a sudden after I hadn't logged in for a while.
Lesson learnt. haahaa.
