|
|
if i had the ability to grow 4 arms, without a doubt i would!!!
but seeing as i can't, i need to find a way to play 3 keyboard parts at once. we're doing some songs that have chords with the left hand, melody's with the right, and kind of a pulsating quarter note string part over the top (on one single note) i need to find a way to play the string line without interrupting my other two hands.
at the moment, my theory is to use a foot switch, or damper pedal, or some kind of midi switch to trigger a note on the keyboard (or possibly a sample on some other sounds) i don't know if a product like this exists, so maybe you guys can send me in the right direction!!
i wonder if theres a way to set a program to be triggered by the damper pedal, rather than the strike of a key???
if this isn't possible, i might end up buying a really cheap midi controller, putting it on the floor, and stomping on it with my left foot, and midi that to the sample |
