what i really like about this package is that Dan succeeded to create the old JMJ sound atmosphere in each combi.
When i play random improvisations with my 2 favorite combis from this package:
Combi 5: Galactic Odyssey
Combi 8: Oxygene 1
Then it sounds if JMJ and his team are improvising in my studio. All those programmed details and little things that happen in the sound. I still find it incredible and i can loose hours with just improvising on those two combis.
Also the creative use of the Voice FX in combi 5 are great. This combi reminds me a little bit of my favorite JMJ album of all times called: zoolook. I have no idea if galactic odyssey is based on a JMJ track (i don't know that track), but the JMJ sound of zoolook is definitely available in that combi. |

Im GETTING there... BUT:
I'm having real trouble learning the fast high keys part in Oxygene 2.
I have got so far with it and then my right hand goes into meltdown (and thats not rude by the way)
I need to SLOOOOOW this track down and learn it note by note.
Would love to master it.. |

I tried to load the JMJ PCG into my Oasys, but as expected it didn't recognise the file. I was kinda hoping it would grab bits of it, but no chance. _________________ Steve M

Worst time ever to have my K in for keyboard repair.. :/
In the meantime I've been through Dans video demo a few times, and it's so awesome I really can't wait to get my K back and just play with this set.
Thanks Dan!!

CAN YOU ALL BELIEVE THIS...
DAN is not only highly skilled in programming synths..
Dan is not only generous enough to share his efforts with us...
Dan actually GAVE me the SNG file for Oxygene 2 so I could learn how to play it.
Honestly, with people like Dan and the mighty Q on our side of the fence, things can only get better...
CHEERS.. |

Dan is a really nice guy and in the Korg M3 days he also helped a lot of people within his own thread on Karma-lab where people could request sounds from songs and he created those sounds for them and shared them with the community. I still have great respect for that and i was really happy to see that he's also in our Kronos community now. |

Wow.... impressive or what.
Although now I am soo tired!
Just got back from holiday....first thing when I came back...update to 2.0.2 and loaded Dan's JMJ collection.
It was obvious that reading this post on my hols, I knew some late nights were coming up!
Last night was just Oxygene.... and there are 10 more
Thanks Dan... JMJ has always been a fav of mine and you have just made my love for the Kronos that much closer! (in a purly musical instrument kind of way you understand lol) _________________ Kronos 88
